The Forward Foundation serves as a catalyst for cultures of authentic discipleship, competent care, and inspired leadership.
We imagine a world where everyone, everywhere will have access to someone who can help them grow and develop insight into their life, discover their passions, achieve their goals, nurture healthy relationships, and create a vision for the future that excites them and makes a difference in the world around them.
We mobilize and equip individuals and organizations to move Forward based on a solid Foundation in their faith, relationships, and professional life.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.”
LifeCare is the Forward Foundation’s flagship ministry, born out of 17 years of praxis in pastoral care, support & recovery group leadership, professional counseling, and missions work. LifeCare is not any of these things, but is a pragmatic, accesible blend of them all.
Since 2012, LifeCare has ignited cultures of care, refinement, and restoration in the United States, the UK, and Europe.
In some cases, trained LifeCarers meet with clients as part of a centralized, supervised care team. In other cases LifeCarers use their skills and tools less formally in their relationships, families, places of work, cafes, living rooms, and small groups.
Many who work with a LifeCarer have become inspired to help others in some way— some have chosen to do this by becoming a LifeCarer themselves while others have stepped deeper into other areas of service, leadership, or creative expression.
